A0432: How do fears arise?
When the body consciousness wants the day consciousness to feel a fear, it sends unmistakable body signals to the so-called day consciousness. We had told you several times that the body consciousness is not you, the body consciousness is represented in you, but it belongs to your human body and is represented in your total consciousness only for the period of the bodily life. No one would be frightened by a small spider if the body consciousness had not learned one day that a spider can cause many physical reactions. At first, the so-called day consciousness thought that a small spider was something to be scared of, so a physical reaction arose from that, which the body consciousness had learned. Again and again, the body consciousness will carry out the physical reactions when the day consciousness sends signals that the spider is to be feared. If the person had never started to fear a small spider, then the body consciousness would never have started to fear a spider. For you hear correctly, you have condemned the body consciousness to fear a small spider and because the bodily reactions are particularly violent in fear, the person thinks he is afraid of the spider. Actually, you are no longer afraid of the spider because you are at an age where you know that such a spider is not a danger. But because you have condemned your body to react strongly whenever a small spider is present, you will probably experience these strong physical reactions for the rest of your physical life.
You are certainly not afraid of the spider, but the physical reaction triggers much in the consciousness of the human being that makes you feel that fear. When the body is calm, then all the bodily processes would run at a normal level. When you are aroused, then all the processes are increased and when you feel fear, then these processes would kick out uncontrollably so that many energy reserves can be mobilised. If you believe that you can feel fear as a consciousness then there is some truth in that, but fear as you know it as a human being is purely bodily and all fear comes from the body consciousness. When you die, all your partial consciousnesses will remain, but the body consciousness does not belong to them, because the body consciousness belongs to the body, so that you no longer know fears as you currently perceive them if you continue to exist as a spiritual being.
How then can you make the body consciousness stop reacting so extremely with so-called fear to small spiders, we ask? Show the body consciousness that it does not have to react so violently when a small spider is present, because the body consciousness does not begin to exercise the extreme physical reactions on its own, but it is always a vicious circle that turns the fear into what you perceive it to be.
The body consciousness controls everything that has to do with the body. Your eyes are there to balance you and to perceive what you can see in your visual horizon. The body consciousness recognises from the information of the eyes that there is a small spider in the focus of the person and knows the further procedure because it has been trained over a long time. The first small physical reactions are triggered and this information is sent via the main energy node of the solar plexus. The so-called day consciousness receives the information via the visual senses and also receives the first physical symptoms, so that a procedure is stored in the “memory”, as the person used to react to the sight of a spider, so that again information is sent to the body consciousness to increase the physical reactions. In this way, the bodily reaction increases more and more and in the end, these bodily reactions will be so violent that the emotion of fear is experienced. We have illustrated this process very clearly, so that we will describe the correct procedure in detail in a subsequent article.
But if the person does not want to experience the fear emotion of a spider, then they must begin to break the vicious circle of the emotion so that the fear emotion cannot increase. When the body consciousness sends out the first physical reactions because the spider has been sighted, then the so-called day consciousness must enter a phase of calm so that it does not begin to search the “memory” for what to do next. If the person would appear calm and level-headed, the body consciousness will remember this course of action because it is also always evolving. If no signals are sent from the daytime consciousness to cause the body consciousness to generate an emotion, then the body consciousness will remember this so that it triggers less and less physical reaction when it sees a small spider.
Now that was not an insight into how a fear emotion comes about, so in the future we will continue to address your fears so that you can accumulate a lot of knowledge about them. Once the knowledge is there you will realise that you do not have to be afraid of most situations at all, because fear is also an emotion that can be trained. You could, through focused concentration, experience any emotion, at any time, so that you do not have to experience uncontrolled emotional outbursts. If you could master this, you would not be afraid of anything, even spiders will not cause any physical reaction.
